2022 was Harvey's debut year in karting, starting in May at the coastal classic in Bunbury. Over the course of the year, he worked on lifting himself into the top 10 at open meetings, while scoring his first podiums at club level races.

2023 was the year Harvey raced at a national level for the first time, competing in all 5 rounds of the Australian Kart Championship, whilst also taking part in races like City of Melbourne Title & the SA State Championship. He scored his first open meet win, dominating the 2nd biggest event of the WA race calendar – ‘King of the Hill’ at Hurricane Kart Club. Harvey finished his first full season of karting as the winner of the 7-round WA State Series (Cadet 12).

2024 was when Harvey picked up a few poles & podiums at open meetings, headed back over east to race at the Australian Kart Championship, & won the West Australian State Championship in Kalgoorlie in his first year in KA3 Junior.

2025 has been a very successful year thus far for Harvey, having picked up 3 major event wins to-date – KA3 Junior Heavy in round 1 of the WA state series, KA3 Junior Light at round 3 in Albany, and KA2 at round 4 in Esperance.
